    JOSELITO VILLASIS/PN - This man is trying to kill an eel he caught at the mouth of the Iloilo River. Eels are elongated fishes, thus they are sometimes mistaken for sea snakes. They possess no pelvic fins, and many species also lack pectoral fins. Most eels live in shallow waters and burrow into sand, mud or among rocks. A majority of them are nocturnal and thus are rarely seen, lending a certain mystic around them.
